Summit White is the only no-cost color reported. Glacier White Tricoat is the only three-coat paint. Other metallics and solids are extra-cost on most builds.
New 2027 Sierra 1500 Paint Options
GMC flagged three new exterior colors in its official 2027 Sierra 1500 news release.
Mesa Red (GAS) is the volume red. It is the same family paint Chevrolet sells as Apex Red on the 2027 Silverado 1500. It is aimed at Pro, Elevation, AT4, and AT4X rather than Denali.
Azurite Blue Metallic (G4M) is the Denali-family blue. Chevrolet uses the same formula as Pacific Blue Metallic. On Sierra, it is reserved for Denali and Denali Ultimate.
Dark Ridge Metallic (GEC) is a new dark gray that also appeared on the 2027 GMC Canyon. It is one of the four colors reported across all six Sierra 1500 trims.
Dropped from the 2026 Sierra 1500 palette: Downpour Metallic, Titanium Rush Metallic, and Volcanic Red Tintcoat. Cardinal Red returns as the work-truck red on Pro and Elevation.

That split is the big 2027 story. Work and off-road trucks get the free white and both reds. Luxury trucks get the blue and the three-coat white instead.

A new Denali Color-Out Package (reported RPO PDD) replaces selected chrome or contrast pieces with body-color moldings, a body-color tailgate applique, body-color mirror caps, and black GMC emblems. Reporting so far ties it to Sterling Metallic or Glacier White Tricoat. Pricing has not been published.
Body-color wheel-arch moldings have also been described as a dealer-installed option on Denali and Denali Ultimate when ordered with Onyx Black, Sterling Metallic, or Glacier White Tricoat. Confirm both packages with your dealer before you lock a build.
Interior Color Options by Trim
Exterior paint is only half the look. GMC published trim-specific interior colorways in the same official launch materials.

Denali is the only trim with three published cabin themes. AT4X’s Timber Mahogany interior is exclusive to that off-road flagship.
